As someone who works in medicine, I understand that physicians can run late. However, being in the waiting room for 1.5 hours is ridiculous and disrespectful of a patients time. Be aware the wait times are awful, I ended up having to leave and cancel my appointment because like many people, I have other responsibilities. I will not be returning to Dr. Vega or anyone in the UHealth Dentistry practice which is very disappointing as I have all of my doctors within the university

I had a great experience with Dr. Beech and Dr. Jackson at the UM Jackson South Medical Office. The office was quick, friendly, and accommodating and scheduling was a breeze.

I had the privilege of being treated by the truly brilliant Dr. Yoh Sawatari, who demonstrates an exceptional level of empathy. From the very beginning, he took the time to patiently listen to all of my concerns and answered every question with kindness, clarity, and professionalism. The surgical experience was extremely positive. After the procedure, he explained how everything went and provided clear, helpful guidance for my recovery. Thanks to his expert care, my healing process has been smooth and remarkably fast. He is supported by a team that truly complements him — they are professional, empathetic, and responsible, making the entire experience even more reassuring. I thank God for the blessing of being in the hands of such a wonderful and highly respected doctor — truly one of the best.

I do NOT recommend coming here all they want to do is CHARGE YOU. I went to get my daughter her wisdom teeth removal and had multiple issues with these people! #1 They at first told us that all four teeth had to be removed but now going after with insurance she had to only take out one. Which is fine, but they told us she had to take out all four. #2 BIG miscommunication. We had to call everyday to make sure that everything was good for the day of because it is a SUPER FAR DRIVE and every other day something new came up. #3 On the day of, which we drove and WASTED GAS, SHE DID NOT ATTEND SCHOOL, and HUNGRY to turn out they didn’t even have our CORRECT PHONE NUMBER and we have to pay EXTRA FEES. Everyone in the google reviews is correct. When you get here you have to pay extra. It is a super nice, clean, and quiet environment and that should mean that they should be able to tell you every single bit of information because it is honestly ridiculous. DO NOT come here if you don’t want to waste your time.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Yoh Sawatari, DDS (oral and maxillofacial surgery) more than 6 month ago, and my appointment was cancelled twice. When the representative called me, she said that they would contact me to overbook me since I had waited so long for the appointment. They never called me. I had to call several times until they rescheduled the appointment at a different location. 5 days before the second appointment, I received a call from the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department that they needed to cancel the appointment because the doctor would not be in the office that day. The lady at the phone also said that neither Dr. Sawatari nor other doctors in that department see my condition. Even though I told the scheduler my condition when I first called to make the appointment, that department waited until 5 days before the second appointment (more than 6 months after I originally scheduled) to advise that they do not see treat my condition. Additionally, when I enter my condition on the UHealth search engine, Dr. Sawatari name appears as a treating provider along with the whole Oral and Maxillofacial department. I have also reached out to the Neurosurgery depart
